The Poverty Institute for Impact and Innovation

The mission of the Poverty Institute for Impact and Innovation is to provide forward-thinking training and innovative resources for community action agencies to enhance their capacity to combat poverty, achieve outcomes, and foster collective impact.  

The Poverty Institute’s training and informational tools will be centered around the following three areas: 1) Effective Service Delivery in Community Action; 2) Capacity-Building for Internal Stakeholders; and 3) Performance Management that Achieves Outcomes. This is a win-win 12-month opportunity because agencies are afforded a platform to learn with other community action professionals from various regions of the country. 

• The Bronze Package provides agencies complimentary registration for 12 months to all virtual training sessions that are sponsored by Berneitha McNair Consulting.

• The Silver Package provides agencies complimentary registration for 12 months to all virtual training sessions that are sponsored by Berneitha McNair Consulting, 1.5 hours of governance training on roles and responsibilities, 1.5 hours of staff development in-service training, a written marketing and branding plan, new board member orientation curriculum, and Introduction to Community Action Video for Onboarding New Staff.

• The Gold Package provides all of the items listed with the Silver Package plus enrollment of two staff persons in BMC’s 6-month Leadership Coaching Program or enrollment of one staff person in BMC’s 12-month Leadership Coaching Program.
